Days Inn Coralville, IA: A Fascinating experience to say the least.

This is a Days Inn with some seriously fascinating decor. There are a few rooms with heart-shaped tubs, which is what (thankfully) led us there, and your porch overlooks the indoor pool with decor that appears to be…an old castle? An old Tudor-style house? I can’t even nail down exactly what is going on there, but it’s a lot. I’m 98% sure it’s haunted and 100% sure it was a very strange but fun experience. It appears to be closed for the “season” for some “maintenance” so let’s all say a prayer that they come back with all the charm they’re known for.
Cleanliness Rating: 3/5
Not a bring-your-own-sheets experience but a might-not-want-to-put-your-clothes-on-the-floor one. Although I’m sure Corey still did and he survived just fine.
Favorite Room: Any of the heart shaped tub rooms felt very strange and cool and vintage. I hope they don’t disappear!
Booking Info: We booked through their website and didn’t have any issues! Again, they may be closed and we’re hoping that’s temporary.
