Cliff House Lodge: A lodge built in the 1800’s that now hosts overnight stays in small cabins with private porches and private hot tubs or jacuzzis. The property is 420 friendly (not the cabins, just the porches!) and is a romantic getaway for couples. Some cabins are pet-friendly with a deposit and they offer a shuttle to Red Rocks Amphitheater on some concert nights. Check their website for more info!
Location: 121 Stone St, Morrison, CO 80465
Cost: ~$180-$300
Our Overall Rating: 4.5/5
This place was such a fun experience and we absolutely loved the area. Red Rocks was beautiful, we could walk to coffee, a drink, dessert, and dinner. The included breakfast is homemade and top-notch. We picked the perfect cabin because Camelot is the most explicitly decorated in a “theme” and we loved that. The only minor mark down is because not all of the cabins are super themed – but you can decide how much that matters to you! Very fun and romantic getaway. Can’t go wrong with a private hot tub, 420 friendly porch, and private jacuzzi.
Cleanliness Rating: 4/5
It’s impossible to make a vintage cabin completely “spotless” since there are old elements being used, but besides being worn down, they were well maintained cabins!
Favorite Room: The Camelot Cabin was the most fantasy-themed so of course that was our favorite. It is also the most recently updated room so you get the perks of new bed, new tiles, new tub, and more!
