America’s Best Value Inn & Suites Oasis of Eden : Yucca Valley, CA :

America’s Best Value Inn & Suites Oasis of Eden: Classic vintage theme hotel in the desert, featuring painted sky ceilings, kitschy decor, and a Cadillac bed!

Location: 56377 Twentynine Palms Highway, Yucca Valley, CA 92284

Cost: ~$150-$200 for theme rooms

Our Overall Rating: 4/5

I love so much about this place. Amazing details that have survived the decades, friendly owners, and a great location if you’re out in the desert. Any issues I have with it come from the wear and tear that hasn’t been kept up with. There are several pieces missing in the room, stained sheets and carpeting, and minor issues that make this feel like less of a luxury theme experience and more like a roadside motel with great kitschy decor. Having said that, we clearly enjoyed ourselves and are thrilled to see a place like this stay in business. We stayed overnight and have no regrets.

Cleanliness Rating: 3/5

The rooms get cleaned but not *incredibly* thoroughly so you might find a stray french fry here or there. Sheets and floors could use updates and even some decor that’s missing. Did not have experiences with bed bugs or anything like that so the minor issues didn’t ruin our experience – just kept me from wanting to walk barefoot on the carpeting lol

Favorite Room: Soo many stunning murals but the Rockin’ Fifties room took the cake for me.
